Project Overview & The Compact Footprint

Designed by SQUARE, Merlin LV18 is a premium residential project located in Kolkata. The core architectural strategy was to adopt a highly efficient, compact footprint of exactly 350 square metres. By deliberately minimizing internal built circulation, our space planning maximizes the functional living areas while allowing the architecture to sit lightly on the site. This approach showcases our expertise in delivering high-end residential architecture within precise spatial parameters.

​Landscape Integration: The Built & Unbuilt

This compact structural approach enabled us to dedicate generous square footage to the outdoors—a rarity in modern urban homes. The design incorporates a sprawling green lawn and a sophisticated, paved poolside plaza. As a leading architecture firm in Kolkata, we prioritize a seamless connection between the built structure and the unbuilt environment, creating welcoming outdoor spaces that are generous in scale and perfect for contemporary living.

​The Spatial Experience: Light & Ventilation

Inside LV18, the architectural layout ensures that the surrounding landscape is always present. Every living space opens either physically or visually to the outdoors. This meticulous approach to residential design guarantees abundant natural daylight, strategically framed views of the pool and lawn, and continuous cross-ventilation flowing effortlessly throughout every volume of the home.
